Hibernians issued a statement announcing that following lengthy negotiations, coach Mark Miller informed the club that, after being approached by Valletta FC a few weeks ago, he was not going to renew his contract with Hibernians and that he was accepting the offer by the Citizens.

The statement says that for this reason, the contract has been terminated with immediate effect.

Hibernians announced that for the time being Richard Mercieca will take charge of the team and will be assisted by Ndubisi Chukunyere.

The Paolites thanked Mark Miller for the work done at the club.
