Three Hibernians players suspended

Three Hibernians players were among seven players to be suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after the last round of matches from the BOV Premier League. 

The worst hit was however Angus Buhagiar of Birkirkara who was banned for three matches. The players to be suspended for one match are Bjorn Bondin (Balzan), Bjorn Kristensen, Clayton Failla and Edison Luis dos Santos (Hibernians), Jonathan Xerri (Marsaxlokk) and Saidou Mady Panandetiguiri (Valletta).

In Division 1, Tobias Terpougoff (Melita), Andre Rocha dos Santos (Naxxar), Clifford Gauci and David Azzopardi (Rabat) were all banned for one match while Naxxar coach Winston Muscat was banned for two matches.

Kevin Gauci (Mellieha), Emmanuel Muscat and Jonathan Onougha (St. Venera) and Sonyo Pereira de Mata (Zebbug) were suspended for one match in Division 2 while David Gauci (Kalkara), Gilbert Camilleri (Mdina), William Camilleri (Mgarr), Edson Falzon (Mtarfa) and Simon Sammut (Swieqi) were banned for one match in Division 3. Hubert Friggieri of Santa Lucia was suspended for two matches. 

Craig Debattista (Marsaxlokk) was suspended for one game in the Youth League while Andre Hili and Daniel Calleja (Attard) were banned for one match in the Youth Knock-Out. Attard kit manager Eddie Catania was banned for two matches.
