The Malta Football Association announced that it has been informed by the UEFA that the UEFA Control and Disciplinary Board met on Thursday in Nyon and deferred the case regarding the alleged corruption in the game between Norway and Malta to the next meeting.

UEFA announced that the final decision about the case has not been taken as investigations have not been completed yet.

The Malta Football Association has no further comments about the issue apart from expressing total faith in the competent UEFA authorities.
