Agreement reached for Tyrone Demanule to contest Gzira United AGM

Following the news that Tyrone Demanuele, Gzira United FC Club Secretary, and MFA Executive Committee member, had decided not to contest the upcoming AGM , a series of meetings were held in order that Mr Demanuele will reconsider his position. Sharlon Pace, a Maroons player and the brains behind Gzira Utd’s ambitious programm, was the go-between during these meetings.

The insistance of Mr Pace seems to have paid dividends, as a mutual agreement was reached and Mr Demanuele shall forward his nomination at the next AGM to be held on Friday, 8th June.

Mr Demanuele confirmed that a lot of outstanding issues had been ironed out and added that persons contesting for a post in the Committee seem to have the club’s good in their heart. Whilst thanking everyone for their messages and phone calls of solidarity, Tyrone Demanuele concluded by wishing all those elected in the new Committee to keep in mind what’s best for the club.
