Brazilian defender Rodrigo Frank Pereira will be staying with Birkirkara FC for another season after agreeing another one-year deal with the club.

The Stripes had already confirmed Serbian defender Nikola Vukanac and Brazilian striker Jorge Santos Silva.

Pereira had joined Birkirkara last summer. On the other hand, Jorge Santos had joined the club in January from Sliema Wanderers while Vukanac returned with the club in February after being released the previous summer.

Meanwhile the club’s official website www.birkirkarafc.com announced that apart from coach Paul Zammit and assistant coach Peter Pullicino, Simon Grech joins the team’s technical staff as goalkeepers’ coach. Mario Gatt has been confirmed as team manager.
