The Annual General Meeting of the Malta Football Association for 2011 will be held on Saturday, 21st July 2011 at 9.30 a.m. at The Ballroom, Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana.

Items on the agenda are the approval of the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting held on the 23rd July 2011, approval of the Minutes of the last Extraordinary General Meeting held on the 20nd June 2012, approval of the Report of Activities of the Association (Administrative Report) for the year 2011/2012, approval of the Audited Accounts and Balance Sheet of the Association (Financial Report) for the year 2011/2012 and the Election of the Ordinary Members of the Executive Committee of the Association for the year 2012/2013. No election for the officers of the Association is necessary as these are held every three years.

The Council Members in representation of Member Clubs in the different Divisions are already known as the amount of candidates is equal to the number of candidates.

Council Members in representation of Member clubs in the different divisions:
Premier Division: Paul Spiteri and John Vella
First Division: Tyrone Demanuele and Joseph Sammut
Second Division: Manuel Gauci and Albert Pace
Third Division: Joseph Farrugia (Marsa) and Paul Sammut

Council Members in representation of Member Clubs in general:
Michael Cutajar, Raymond Micallef and Charles Scerri

Council Members in representation of The Youth FA
Joe Micallef

There is also no need for an election for the Council Members to represent The Youth Football Association and the other Member Associations. The Youth FA will be represented by Joe Micallef and member associations by Lino Bartolo and Donald Spiteri. The representative of the Gozo Football Association should also be approved.

There are three candidates to fill two vacancies for the posts of Council Members in representation of Member Clubs in general. These are Michael Cutajar (St. George’s), Raymond Micallef (Attard) and Charles Scerri (Lija Athletic).
