Newly-promoted Rabat Ajax secured the services of defender Clive Brincat on a one-year loan from Marsaxlokk.

Brincat was on the verge of joining Hamrun Spartans last week but the deal fell through and he opted to join the Magpies.

A product of St. George’s, he made his Premier League debut in season 2006/07. The following season, he joined Msida St. Joseph but in summer 2008, he moved to Marsaxlokk.
