Under-17: Heavy defeat for ten-man Malta

The Malta Under-17 side, led by Branko Nisevic and his assistant Charlie Scerri, suffered a heavy against the Czech Reoublic in another match from the Under-17 tournament which is currently being held in Hungary. The match was played at the Recekev Stadium.

The Maltese were reduced to ten men after just five minutes when the Czech Republic were awarded a penalty and Malta goalkeeper Philip Schranz was sent off. From the penalty spot, David Picfal converted. On the 17th minute, Jurgen Degabriele equalised for Malta but the Czechs scored another two goals by the end of the first half through Vacsal Cereck on 25 minutes and a penalty by Valdevic Lecai on 36 minutes.

The Czech Republic added another five goals after the break, through Fotr Oscavic on 57 minutes, Valdevic Lecai on 70 minutes, Matej San on 74 minutes, David Vavrout on 79 minutes and Michal Vchidler on 82 minutes.
