The BOV Third Division League kicked-off on Sunday with the first seven matches which were played at three different venues.
At the Centenary Stadium, Ghaxaq found no difficulty in beating newcomers Ta’ Xbiex SC. Marsa defeated Sirens 2-0 while Senglea Athletic and Marsaskala shared the spoils in a goalless draw.
At the Charles Abela Stadium, Attard came from behind to beat Luqa St. Andrew’s 2-1 while Mtarfa defeated Kalkara 1-0.
Swieqi United beat Santa Lucia 2-0 while Xghajra Tornados defeated Qrendi 3-0 at the Luxol Stadium.

WEll done Marsa FC good game brilliant begining. Keep calm and stay cool.
FORZA MARSA
it was a nice match between marsaskala and senglea altough both didn t open a lot but marsaskala seems they play very tough football (sometimes too much ) while senglea are more to play ground football but on the other hand marsaskala when they attack they force with 3 and 4 forwords while senglea rely always on 1 or 2 playes a system that for sure didnt work as marsaskala created more channces.good luck to both teams and the others to come
Very nice and impressive photos Mr.S. Gatt. We look forward for more. In my opinion the third division league is not given much importance in the ‘Local Media’, these photos helps to solve this problem a bit and encourages the clubs’ committee members and players to work harder.
Agree with Mr Gauci, thanks stephen . And also we would like to say thank you to Antonie Busuttil too for keeping us informed. Thanks both !!
