Gudja United registered their second win in the BOV First Division as they beat Dingli Swallows 3-2.

Ryan Sell put Gudja ahead on 31 minutes but three minutes later, Evair Grech levelled matters. Gudja regained the lead thanks to a penalty by Ivan Kurtusic on 52 minutes and Kiril Aleksandrov on 76 minutes increased the lead further. Evair Grech scored a second goal for Dingli two minutes from time.

In another match, Lija Athletic defeated St. Andrews 3-0. A win which puts Lija in first place together with Marsaxlokk.

Antoine Sacco put Lija ahead after just nine minutes. Two minutes in the second half, Erjon Beu doubled the score and Sacco sealed the issue with a third goal four minutes later.

For the Saints, this was the first defeat after two wins in the first two matches.
