Qormi FC continued to invest heavily in their Technical Staff with the addition of Joe Brincat and Godfrey Grima.

Joe Brincat will be working alongside Stephen Azzopardi in the role of Assistant Coach. A former national team player who earned a total of 103 caps for the Maltese National team and also played for various Clubs throughout his career, namely Hamrun Spartans FC, Birkirkara FC, Sliema Wanderers FC and Floriana FC. As a coach, he has already had stints with San Gwann FC, Vittoriosa Stars FC and Floriana FC.

On the other hand, Godfrey Grima joins the club as Technical Advisor of the Youth Nursery.

Grima, who possesses the UEFA “A” license, is a very well known coach at youth level, having already worked as Nursery Head Coach at St. Venera United FC and recently at Pietà Hotspurs FC. He will be working hand in hand with Youth Nursery Head Coach Edward Micallef and the other qualified coaches that form the Qormi FC Youth Nursery and Academy Coaching Setup.

With these two important additions, the Qormi FC Committee has once again confirmed that Youth Development is the first priority on the Club’s agenda, and that in the future it will continue focusing on this philosophy.
