Qormi FC appointed Jesmond Zerafa as coach until the end of the season. The two parties reached an agreement after the club agreed to terminate the contract of former coach Stephen Azzopardi who joined Floriana.

Zerafa will be assisted by Joe Brincat who was appointed assistant coach a couple of weeks ago.

Jesmond Zerafa had already coached Qormi over the past years, leading the club to promotion to the Premier League and coaching the club in his first years in the Premier League. He then joined Valletta with whom he won two successive championships.
