Gudja United bounced back from the defeat to Marsaxlokk as they beat Pietà Hotspurs 2-1 at the Luxol Stadium on Saturday.

Kiril Alexandrov and Peter Paul Sammut scored the goals for Gudja with Jonathan Bilbo Zarate replying for Pietà.

Lija Athletic, on the other hand, were held in a 1-1 draw by Gzira United in the second match.

St. Andrews lead the way with 15 points, followed by Naxxar and Lija on 14, Marsaxlokk on 13, Gudja and Pietà on 11, Vittoriosa 10, Zejtun 9, Gzira 6, Birzebbuga and Dingli 3 and Mqabba 2.
