Mosta defender Bryan Agius was handed a three-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off in the U*BET FA Trophy clash with Hibernians.

Defender Luke Dimech was also suspended for one match after being sent off during the same game. The other players to be banned for one match were Joseph Zerafa (Birkirkara), David Mamo (Gharghur), Cleaven Cassar (Pietà), Glen Brincat (Senglea) and Matthew Schembri (Zurrieq).

Zerafa is ruled out of the U*BET FA Trophy fourth round clash with Qormi but the other players will have to serve their ban during league matches as their teams were eliminated from the competition.

Bryan Agius is therefore ruled out of the BOV Premier League matches against Sliema, Hamrun and Balzan. Dimech also misses the game against Sliema.
