The Xewkija Tigers FC Football Ground was inaugurated by the Minister for Gozo Giovanna Debono together with Minister for Justice, Dialogue and the Family Dr Chris Said, Xewkija Mayor Dr Monica Vella and MFA President Norman Darmanin Demajo in the presence of the Xewkija Tigers committee.

With reagards to the Sirens football ground, well done for the initiative but the ground’s surface is a complete disgrace. It is in fact a joke when knowing that this football ground is ‘brand new’. The surface has to be at least up to standard and not anything like the Sirens’ one. It’s a pity that our future generations are training there day in day out.
