Pietà Hotspurs scored two late goals to turn defeat into victory beating Mqabba 3-2 in a match from the BOV First Division.

Claudio Calleja put Mqabba ahead on 22 minutes and David Azzopardi doubled the score on 34 minutes. Larson Mallia pulled one back on 62 minutes. Raphael Alain Kooh Sohna levelled matters on the 90th and in stoppage time, Jurgen Pisani notched the winner.

In another match, Vittoriosa Stars were held in a 1-1 draw by Gzira United.

An own goal by Jeffrey Chetcuti put Vittoriosa ahead on 37 minutes but Gzira levelled matters four minutes later through Aaron Xuereb.
