Malta international defender Andrei Agius joined Lega Pro Second Divisione side F.C. Aprilia from Torres.

Agius was a key member of the team which enabled US Latina to gain promotion from the Lega Pro Prima Divisione to the Serie B last season. However although he was still under contract with the club, Agius had to seek a new club as he was not in the plans of new Latina coach Gaetano Auteri, joining Sassari-based Torres.

The Malta international defender played for FK Zemun in Serbia before moving to Italy where he played for Sporting Mascalucia, Martina Franca, Messina, Igea Virtus, Cassino and Melfi apart from a short spell with Birkirkara in the latter part of season 2010/11.
