Sirens secured the BOV Third Division Championship after defeating St. Venera Lightnings 3-0 on Friday. A win which puts the St. Paul’s Bay side on the 66-point mark, twelve ahead of Swieqi United.

Thanks to this win, Sirens extended their unbeaten record to twenty-four matches.

Sirens lead the way with 66 points, followed by Swieqi on 54, Ghaxaq 45, Attard 43, Xghajra 41, Mgarr 34, Santa Lucia 32, Mtarfa 30, Sta. Venera and Luqa 27, Qrendi 23, Ta’ Xbiex 17, Kalkara and Marsaxlokk 5.
