Mosta signed Brazilian striker Pedro Henrique dos Santos Calcado on a one-year deal.

Pedro Calcado arrived in Malta mid-way through season 2007/08, joining Msida St. Joseph. He left the island in 2009 but returned mid-way through season 2009/10 to join Sliema Wanderers, staying until the end of the season. The following season, Pedrinho joined Balzan Youths in Division 1, helping them to win promotion to the Premier League. In January 2013, he moved to Brazil where he played for Itumbiara but after a short spell, he joined Police United in Thailand. Pedrinho returned with Balzan last January.

Pedrinho is the second new foreigner for Mosta after the signing of Brazilian forward Daniel Mariano Bueno. They had also confirmed Bojan Kaljevic and Jonas Ekani Rodriguez.
