The Citizens had earlier signed Nicky Vella, Ryan Camilleri and Maltese-Australian Adrian Zahra.

Meanwhile the club’s official website www.vallettafc.net announced that Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza and Samir Arab were loaned to Balzan while Dyson Falzon moved to Mosta on loan. Mifsud Triganza was expected to join Zebbug but the deal fell through.

Edmond Agius left the club to join Birkirkara while Steve Borg is expected to sign for Platinum Stars in South Africa despite reports in Cyprus that he was close to joining Anorthosis Famagusta.
