Another two Brazilian players for Msida St. Joseph

Msida St. Joseph have concluded negotiations with Brazilians Ricardo Silva Faria and Diego Fernando Pereira – two players who played for Mosta last season.

Ricardo Silva Faria, known as Ricardinho, will be joining Msida on loan from the Blues while Diego Fernando Pereira will be joining the club on a two-year contract.

During last year’s BOV Premier League, Diego scored four goals in 15 matches while Ricardinho scored one in sixteen matches.

Club President Mr. Edward Calleja was delighted that the club managed to conclude the signing of these the players and he added that together with Yuri de Jesus Messias, which the club signed earlier this month, also from Mosta, the club has signed all their first priority foreigners for the following campaign.

Club Vice-President Mr. Alan Abela-Wadge added that with Yuri, Diego and Ricardinho the club is now well equipped with a legion of fast, technical and strong forward line that should give the Msida team the necessary firepower to compete in the BOV First Division.

Meanwhile Msida have appointed Abel Munor Martin as Under 19 coach and Assistant Coach of the Senior team.

Abel Munor Martin holds a UEFA PRO Licence and thus his experience and knowledge will definitely be an asset to the Msida SJFC clan.

Abel Munor Martin is a former player that even played for youth sectors of the Spanish National Team.

Club President Mr. Edward Calleja added that with Abel Munor Martin’s signing the team has now completed its technical setup that is headed by Saviour Debono Grech and the club is now looking forward towards the beginning of the campaign under their guidance.
