Floriana defender Steve Bonnici was handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Bonnici is therefore ruled out of the next game against Naxxar Lions on Saturday.

In Division 1, Aaron Dalli (Birzebbuga) was banned for three matches. Joseph Farrugia (Fgura), Mauro Brincat (Gudja), and Mark Anthony Borg (St. George’s) were suspended for one match.

Shawn Bonello (Swieqi) was suspended for one match in the Second Division.

In the Third Division, Darren Cristina (Kalkara) and Alexander Cauchi (Marsaskala) were banned for one match. Marsaxlokk team manager Tony Bugeja and Ta’ Xbiex SC club official Francesco Refalo were suspended for two matches
