Xewkija Tigers join Nadur Youngsters on top

Xewkija Tigers joined Nadur Youngsters on top the Melita First Division table in Gozo following a narrow win in the direct clash on Saturday.

Frankie Camilleri was sent off for Nadur on the 34th minute and from resulting penalty, Chris Camilleri scored the all-important goal.

Xewkija and Nadur lie fifteen points ahead of third-placed Kercem Ajax who suffered a fourth consecutive defeat, losing 3-2 to St. Lawrence Spurs.
