Champions Hibernians extended their positive run on top the BOV Women’s League as they defeated Kirkop United 4-1 in one of three matches from the Championship Pool which were played on Tuesday.

The Paolites stay three points ahead of Birkirkara who bounced back from last week’s defeat to Mgarr United with a narrow 1-0 win over Raiders (Luxol). Mgarr, on the other hand, beat Pembroke Athleta 4-0.

In Section B, Swieqi United defeated Sliema Wanderers 2-1 to register a third consecutive win and move second behind leaders Hamrun Spartans. The latter beat Tarxien Rainbows 2-0 in another match.
