Hamrun Spartans dropped two important points in the BOV Second Division as they were held in a 1-1 draw by Gharghur.

Alan Tabone put Hamrun ahead on 28 minutes and Muda Fagbeja equalised on the 57th.

In another match, Zabbar St. Patrick defeated Ghaxaq 2-0 thanks to a goal by Dylan Micallef on the 77th and an own goal three minutes from time.

Hamrun lead the way with 44 points, followed by San Gwann on 43, Senglea on 38, Zejtun 35, Zabbar 33, Gharghur 30, Siggiewi and Mellieha 28, Sirens 25, Marsa 24, Swieqi 23, Dingli 16, Ghaxaq 9 and Xghajra 5.
