Women’s national team off to Cyprus

The Malta women’s national team leaves Malta on Wednesday, destination Cyprus, where the team led by coach Mark Gatt will be facing Azerbaijan, Bahrain and Cyprus in Larnaca.

Malta faces Azerbaijan on Thursday 12 at the Geroskipou Stadium, Cyprus on Friday 13 at the Peyia Municipal Stadium and Bahrain at the Geroskipou Stadium on Sunday.

These will be the first matches for Mark Gatt as women’s national team coach. Gatt, who replaced Pierre Brincat, had earliier served as MFA staff coach.

The players selected by Gatt are:
