Valletta’s Abdelkarim Nafti is the BOV Player of the Month for March 2015.

The Tunisian midfielder clinched this award following his performances for the Citizens that enabled them to maintain their third position and keep the pressure on second placed Birkirkara and runaway leaders Hibernians.

Nafti produced a moment of magic in Valletta’s 2-1 win over Pieta. After opening the score for Valletta, Pieta levelled the score. Nafti kept his cool and produced a lob over the Pieta ‘keeper to secure the win and the 3 points. Another two goals against Tarxien, and being voted BOV Player of the Match in Valletta’s matches against Tarxien Rainbows, Pieta Hotspurs and Mosta secured the award for Nafti, who boasts 10 goals in this year’s BOV Premier League.

Charles Grech Soler, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s branch in Republic Street Valletta presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy for March to Abdelkarim Nafti. The player chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation related to this award.
