Ghajnsielem celebrated the Melita Second Division championship with a 2-1 win over Munxar Falcons on Sunday.

Paul Parnis put Munxar ahead but goals by Michael Bezzina and Jason Portelli turned the score in the Blacks’ favour.

Runners-up Munxar will now face St. Lawrence Spurs in the Promotion/Relegation Play-off after the Spurs suffered a 1-2 defeat to Oratory Youths on Wednesday.

Shaun Attard converted a penalty to put the Youths ahead on the 6th minute; James Grima equalised two minutes froim the end of the first half but Mark Camilleri notched the winner on 74 minutes.

In another match, SK Victoria Wanderers beat Sannat Lions 2-0 thanks to goals by Oliver Farrugia on the 53rd and Nicholas Vella on the 58th.
