The Malta Football Association announced the dates for the deciders which are necessary in the BOV First Division and BOV Third Division.
In the BOV First Division, Gzira United and Melita finished in the third place with 45 points and a decider is necessary since it cannot be determined which team qualifies to play the Play Off against the tenth placed team of the BOV Premier League.
The deciding match for third place in the BOV First Division between Gzira United and Melita shall be played on Sunday 3rd May at the Centenary Stadium at 16:00.
In the BOV Third Division League, Mgarr United and Kirkop United finished in the first place with 52 points. Moreover a deciding match between Luqa St. Andrew’s and Marsaxlokk is needed to determine which team will automatically participate in the BOV Third Division next season. The losing team will have to re-apply to participate in the BOV Third Division League according to MFA Regulations.
The BOV Third Division Championship Decider between Mgarr United and Kirkop United will be played on Saturday 2nd May at the Centenary Stadium at 18:00 while the Relegation Decider between Luqa St. Andrew’s and Marsaxlokk will be played on Saturday 2nd May 2015 at the Centenary Stadium at 16.00.
Extra time has to played if these matches are still draw after the 90 minutes. If, after the end of the extra time the result is still draw, penalty kicks shall be taken in accordance with The Laws of the Game.
