Champions Hibernians celebrated the BOV Women’s League Championship title in style as they beat runners-up Birkirkara 2-1 on Tuesday to finish nine points ahead of the Stripes.

Tanya Gravina from Bank of Valletta’s Marketing Department and Rodney Pisani from the Malta Football Association presented the medals and trophy to the Champions.

Meanwhile Raiders (Luxol) and Mgarr United ended their commitments in joint-third place after Raiders defeating Mgarr 1-0 in a direct clash. Pembroke Athleta, on the other hand, ended their commitments with a win as they beat Kirkop United 2-1.

Meanwhile in Section B, Hamrun Spartans finished top after beating Swieqi United.
