Mifsud Triganza sinks Stripes as Balzan celebrate historic fourth place

Balzan ended their league commitments with a narrow win over Birkirkara – their second win over the Stripes this season – to move to just one point behind Paul Zammit’s side.

Balzan scored the all-important goal on the 35th minute when Lydon Micallef served Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza on the left and the latter beat goalkeeper Mirza Hamzabegovic.
