Naxxar Lions have appointed Stefano Grima as their new coach. Grima replaces Jesmond Zerafa who took over from Winston Muscat mid-way through the season.

Stefano Grima has been serving as assistant coach of Naxxar during the past season.

Grima, who played for Sliema Wanderers, Naxxar Lions, St. Andrews, Marsa, Balzan Youths, Valletta and Msida St. Joseph, had earlier served as assistant coach with Vittoriosa Stars.

Meanwhile David Vella is the new president of Naxxar Lions after Dione Drago decided not to stand for re-election.
