Carlo Monti joins Qormi

Scottish midfielder Carlo Gordon Monti will be playing for Qormi after impressing with Zebbug Rangers last season.

Monti started his career with Celtic at youth level but left the club at the age of 18 to join Greenock Morton. After playing for an amateur club and a short spell with Arbroath, Monti joined non-league side Pollok where he scored 32 goals in 41 matches between March 2012 and May 2013. Monti earned a contract with Dundee in the Championship. He joined Zebbug Rangers in August, scoring nine goals in twenty-seven matches.

Meanwhile Qormi are reportedly interested in Argentine midfielder Claudio Daniel Frances who played for Pietà Hotspurs last season.
