Second defeat for Under-19 side in mini-tournament

Malta lost 0-3 to Denmark in the second match from Group 6 of the UEFA Under-19 Championship Qualifying Round at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Thursday.

Mikkel Duelund converted a penalty to put Denmark ahead on 21 minutes, Mads Thychosen doubled the score on the hour and Mikkel Duelund added another a minute later.

Malta plays the third and final match on Sunday against Iceland. Iceland held Denmark in a 1-1 draw on Tuesday but lost 1-4 to Israel on Thursday.
