Kercem’s Petar Kyumyurdzhiev wins BOV GFA Player of the Month award

Petar Kyumyurdzhiev, Kerċem Ajax’s Bulgarian central defender is the BOV GFA Player of the Month for November 2015.

Petar was presented with his award trophy by Horace Laudi, Regional Manager for Gozo at Bank of Valletta during aKercem Ajax training session in the presence of his team-mates and coaches as well as Paul Galea from the Gozo Football Association.

This is 34-year old Kyumyurdzhiev’s second individual award since he joined Kerċem Ajax four football seasons ago.

During November, Petar had positive performances in Kerċem’s two matches in the Gozo Football League where they lost to Għajnsieem and won against SK Victoria Wanderers..

Kyumyurdzhiev, who has played in the highest level of Bulgarian football, distinguishes himself not only with his technical abilities but also in the way he leads the team and helps less experienced players. Kercem are strongly vying for the Championship this season and Kyumyurdzhiev is determined to bridge the small gap with the league leaders.
