Balzan reach FA Trophy quarter-finals

Balzan were the first team to reach the quarter-finals of the FA Trophy as they defeated First Division side Melita 2-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

Balzan had eliminated Fgura United 2-1 in the third round while Melita had defeated Mgarr United 3-1 and Rabat Ajax 4-1 in the previous rounds.

Lydon Micallef put Balzan ahead and Dylan Grima doubled the score twelve minutes in the second half.
