After the shock upset to Rabat Ajax, Pietà Hotspurs returned to winning ways in the BOV First Division as they came from behind to beat St. George’s 3-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Ren Mizugashira put the Saints ahead on the 9th minute but the Hotspurs equalised through Jason Gorskie three minutes later and turned the score in their favour with a brace by John Roland Emeka on the 25th and 92nd.

Leaders Gzira United take on second-placed Hamrun Spartans in this weekend’s big match at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 16:15.

Gzira lead the way with 46 points, followed by Hamrun on 43, Pietà 34, Senglea 32, Lija 24, Vittoriosa, Rabat, Mqabba and Fgura 23, Zebbug and Melita 22, San Gwann 17, St. George’s 15 and Gudja 8.
