Under-19s lose to Albania but beat C.R. Lazio on penalties

The Malta Under-19 national team led by coach Wayne Attard lost to Albania on penalties on Monday but then defeated C.R. Lazio on penalties in another match on Tuesday in the Torneo Roma Caput Mundi.

On Monday, penalties had to determine the clash between Malta and Albania following a goalless draw. In the penalty shoot-out, Albania won 7-6. The game against C.R. Lazio on Tuesday also ended in a goalless draw but this time, Malta won the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

The third and final match is against the Welsh Colleges FA on Thursday.
