Nominees for MFA Awards 2016 revealed

The Malta Football Association announced the nominees for eleven of the awards which will be presented during the MFA Awards 2016 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on Friday May 20.

Vying for the most prestigious award of Footballer of the Year are Valletta duo Roderick Briffa and Jonathan Caruana, Balzan’s Alfred Effiong and Lydon Micallef and Bjorn Kristensen of Hibernians.

Roderick Briffa had already won the award in season 2010/11.
