Amadou Samb returns with Floriana

Senegalese striker Amadou Samb will be playing for Floriana once again during the coming season after featuring for the club in 2014/15. With the Greens, he had scored seven goals in eighteen league matches.

At an early age, he moved to Italy where he first played for amateur side Forza e Costanza. He then joined Monza in 2008 and during the January 2011 transfer window, he signed for Serie A side Chievo. He spent two years on loan with Cremonese and Lumezzane respectively and in January 2014, he moved to Hellas Verona but was immediately loaned to KF Teuta Durres in Albania.

Meanwhile Floriana have also secured the services of defender Alex Cini on loan from Mosta.

A product of Mosta, Cini spent one year on loan with Tarxien in season 2014/15 and another year loan with Pembroke Athleta last season.
