Four new players for Pembroke Athleta

After securing their Premier League status at the end of last season, Pembroke Athleta are busy strengthening their squad ahead of the coming season.

They signed defender Adrian Borg and midfielders Clifford Gauci, David Fenech and Brandon Muscat.

Adrian Borg is a product of Mosta but spent two years on loan with Hamrun Spartans. Clifford Gauci started his career with Valletta but joined Rabat Ajax in summer 2011. He moved to Zebbug Rangers in the January 2014 transfer window but joined neighbours Qormi last summer.

A product of Mellieha, David Fenech played for Balzan, Mqabba, Nadur Youngsters and Tarxien Rainbows before joining Naxxar Lions in summer 2014. On the other hand, Brandon Muscat, son of Pembroke Athelta coach Winston Muscat, started his career with Hibernians but spent time on loan with St. George’s and later with Tarxien Rainbows.
