Mosta secured the services of goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo and midfielder Kurt Magro from Valletta.
A product of San Gwann, Manuel Bartolo made his Premier League debut in season 2005/06 with Msida St. Joseph. He spent two years on loan – with Birkirkara in 2010/11 and Floriana in 2011/12. In summer 2012, he joined Valletta, signing a five-year deal. With the Citizens, he played quite regularly during the first season but mid-way through 2013/14, he was loaned to Balzan. On his return with the club, he made no appearance the following season until being loaned to Zebbug Rangers.
Last season, Manuel Bartolo made no appearance throughout the whole season but the 32-year old goalkeeper returned into action during the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round second leg against Crvena Zvezda where he had a fine display in a 1-2 defeat.
Meanwhile this will be the third spell for Kurt Magro with Mosta.
