Interim England manager Gareth Southgate has named his squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.
Marcus Rashford is back in squad after scoring a hat-trick on his debut for the Under-21 side against Norway last month. Jesse Lingard was also promoted from the Under-21 squad.
Glen Johnson is included for the first time since the 2014 World Cup, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back in the squad after a year’s absence. Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are both missing due to injuries.
Harry Kane, Jack Butland, Danny Drinkwater, Adam Lallana and Nathaniel Clyne are all ruled out injured.
