Attard returned to winning ways in the BOV Second Division as they defeated Marsaxlokk 2-1 at the Luxol Stadium on Friday.

Jurgen Gerada put Attard ahead just before half-time but Alain Pierre Courtadon levelled matters on the 67th. However Firas Aboulezz notched the winner four minutes from time.

Zejtun lead the way with 9 points, followed by Qrendi and Attard on 7, San Gwann and Zabbar 6, Siggiewi 5, Mgarr, Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga 4, Swieqi 3, Ghaxaq and Mellieha 2, St. George’s 1 and Gudja 0.
