Under-19 side loses to Sweden

uefa-under-19The Malta Under-19 side lost 4-0 to Sweden in the first match from Group 10 of the UEFA Under-19 CHampionship qualifying round at the Gradski Stadion FK Zemum in Belgrade, Serbia on Wednesday.

Isac Lidberg put Sweden ahead after just one minute and Thomas Isherwood doubled the score. Substitute Dennis Hadzikadunic made it 3-0 on the 66th and another substitute Viktor Gyokeres added another three minutes from time.

Malta faces hosts Serbia on Friday. In their first match, Serbia defeated Moldova 2-0 on Wednesday.
