Dr Cory Greenland to run for the post of MFA Vice-President

MFADr Cory Greenland, an official of Third Division side Marsaskala, announced that he had presented his candidature for the post of MFA Vice-President.

In a statement, Dr Greenland said that he had accepted the nomination by a number of member clubs and member associations.

He said that over the past years, he served in various posts at Marsaskala FC apart from representing the club in the Council of the Malta Football Association and being a member in various MFA boards.

Throughout the past experience, he said he formed opinions and thoughts about how the structures of the local game could be strengthened in order to continue with the series of reforms in regulations and the administration of the game.

The other candidates for the post are Hibernians vice-president Dr Duncan Borg Myatt, MFA Prosecutor Dr Adrian Camilleri, former Hamrun Spartans official Victor Cassar, former MFA vice-president Dr Peter Fenech, Mdina Knights official Silvio Galea and Floriana FC vice-president Dr Matthew Paris.

The election will be held on December 6th during an Extraordinary General Meeting.
