Sliema Wanderers unveil sponsorship agreeement with Dizz Group

Sliema Wanderers unveiled a sponsorship by DIZZ Group during a press conference at the club premises on Friday.

Spearheaded by Diane Izzo, DIZZ Group have established themselves as one of the leading companies in the retail sector, representing brands like Paul & Shark, Harmont&Blaine, Brooks Brothers, Liu-Jo and Trussardi among others.

Sliema Wanderers president Keith Perry described this agreement as a natural partnership considering that DIZZ Group are the largest company in their sector and the Wanderers were a club with a glorious history, apart from the fact that the sponsors have close connection with the club. In fact, Perry described DIZZ Group as being part of their family.

Perry also thanked Zarb Coaches, who he said have been backing Sliema Wanderers since the first day of his presidency, and Fort Fitness.

The Sliema president said that the club had been investing heavily in young players and Jean Paul Farrugia, Ryan Spiteri, Gabriel Aquilina, Peter Xuereb, Michele Sansone and Timothy Aquilina now all have long-term contracts with the club.

Dizz Group CEO Diane Izzo said it was honour for her and her company to form part of Sliema Wanderers, saying she hoped this will only be the start of a long-term relationship with the club.
