Pietà Hotspurs and Sirens registered identical 2-0 wins in two matches from the BOV First Division at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday.

Pietà returned to winning ways as they defeated Zebbug Rangers 2-0. James Scicluna put the Hotspurs ahead on the 18th minute and Juan Manuel Ruiz Perez doubled the score on the hour.

On the other hand, Sirens beat Marsa 2-0 courtesy of a Charles Newuche Nnaemeka goal on the 43rd and Lee Grech on the 77th.

Senglea and Naxxar lead the way with 18 points, followed by Lija on 17, Vittoriosa and Mqabba 16, Qormi 15, Sirens 13, Pietà 12, Rabat 10, Melita and Marsa 9, Gharghur 8, Fgura 7 and Zebbug 6.
