Dr Matthew Paris elected as MFA Vice-President

Dr Matthew Paris was elected as Vice-President of the Malta Football Association. He replaces Dr Chris Bonett who resigned from the post after accepting the job as UEFA Integrity Officer. Dr  Paris will be serving along Senior Vice-President Ludovico Micallef and Vice-President Alex Manfre who were elected to the post in July. 

The election for Vice-President was held during an Extraordinary General Meeting which was held at the Centenary Hall, Ta’ Qali on Tuesday.

Dr Matthew Paris obtained 37 votes, followed by Dr Cory Greenland on 33, Dr Peter Fenech 29, Dr Duncan Borg Matt 17, Dr Adrian Camilleri and Victor Cassar both 7 and Silvio Galea 6.

Dr Paris has been serving as vice-president of Floriana FC and was a founder member of Mdina Knights FC.
