Valletta sign Lithuanian striker

Valletta secured the services of Lithuanian former international striker Tomas Radzinevičius.

Radzinevičius started his career with FK Sūduva where he played for nine years before moving to Slovan Liberec in the Czech Republic. During his period on the club’s books, he had spells on loan with SK Kladno and SK Dynamo České Budějovice. In 2009, he was transferred to Odra Wodzisław in Poland but a few months later returned to the Czech Republic, on a loan spell with FK Baník Sokolov. He was transferred to FK Senica in Slovakia in 2010 and was immediately loaned to FK Fotbal Třinec in the Czech Republic. Later he played for MFK Karviná and SFC Opava before moving back to his country with FK Sūduva in 2013.

He played 21 matches for the Lithuanian national team, scoring his only goal in a 4-1 win over Malta at the Hibernians Stadium in 2006.

Valletta hope Radzinevičius will fill the void left by Federico Falcone who moved to Malaysia to join Terengganu.
